But to those who do love clowns, their lives are filled with joy when they see a clown perform. In order to wear clown costumes professionally, a lot of people choose to go to clown school. In clown school individuals learn how to conduct themselves, how to make people laugh, and fun extras like face painting and balloon animals. Clown costumes also make a good choice for costume parties and as a childs Halloween costume. Babies especially look adorable in clown costumes and they also photograph well because they are so colorful. Types of Clown Costumes Clowns come in all different styles and sizes, if you do decide that you need clown costumes, it is important to keep this in mind. There are happy clowns, loud clowns, and silent clowns. Some are bald and some are more colorful than others. What kind of costume do you need? Do you need the costume simply because you want to play dress-up or will it have a more defined purpose? Also, call costume shops and ask if they have costumes for sale or rent. You can also borrow clown costumes form those whove purchased them before. Also, your local theater company may have clown costumes theyd be willing to let you borrow or rent. Using the Clown Costumes What do you need the clown costumes for? There are some choices. Perhaps youve decided to become a professional clown. Or maybe you want to dress up as a clown for a childs birthday party. Maybe youve decided to be a clown for Halloween or to wear it to a costume party. Since there are so many different kinds of clown costumes, your use for it may dictate what kind of costume you end up with.
